In April, Flat Stanley went to the Duke University's Rare Books, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library to do research for a paper about Lynchburg during the Civil War. He took a break to take a picture with the chapel building, one of Duke's most famous landmarks.

Stanley also went with Bandit and me to a dog fair in Raleigh. Here he stops to take a break with Bandit.
Although Stanley visited Duke first, he preferred North Carolina State University, where I am working on my master's in public history. Here is Stanley with the famous logo at the brickyard, a popular landmark on campus.Stanley helped my Advanced Museology class with our final project--an exhibit case about the bricks on NC State's campus. Here he poses with one of the
artifacts.
Sadly, my camera broke as I was on my way to take Stanley to the North Carolina capitol building and other fun downtown Raleigh sites. So these were the best pictures that I was able to get with Stanley.
